Job summary

VTG seeks an Operations Manager to support our client on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will ensure schedules are executed, manage the IMS for on-time delivery, and coordinate survey-related issues, while supervising staff to day-to-day execution.

Strong candidates have 5+ years IMS experience including leadership, advanced MS Project skills, and a proven track record with schedule health metrics in complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, or a related field; four years relevant experience may substitute.
• 5+ years IMS experience, including at least 2 years leading scheduling personnel.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project (Server or Online).
• Experience developing, baselining, maintaining, and analyzing IMS on complex programs.
• Experience with schedule health metrics (DCMA 14-point check, BEI, CPLI, SPI).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, or a related technical field Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
• 5+ years of IMS experience, including at least 2 years leading scheduling personnel
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project (Server or Online)
• Demonstrated experience developing, baselining, maintaining, and analyzing IMS on complex programs
• Experience with schedule health metrics (e.g., DCMA 14-point check, BEI, CPLI, SPI)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting the U.S. Army or other federal agencies

Clearance & Travel

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with senior military leadership and program teams
• Active Secret clearance required at the time of application
• Travel up to 25%, as required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Pay Range

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $110,000-$165,000/annually which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
