Job summary

Richelieu is seeking an Operations Manager in Atlanta to lead warehousing, inventory control, and shipping/receiving. You will manage a diverse team, ensure on-time product shipment, and collaborate with sales, procurement, and planning to meet customer expectations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in a leadership role in the warehousing sector, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This on-site position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role such as warehouse manager, branch manager, or operations manager.
• Experience in the construction or building materials industry is a strong plus.
• Eager to learn, with a passion for providing solutions to customers and a drive to achieve success.
• Desire/ability to also perform daily warehousing tasks alongside team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; must be able to effectively use Excel, Word, and Outlook for daily tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for warehousing, inventory control, and shipping/receiving.
• Manage a team of warehouse associates and drivers.
• Support and organize Warehouse, Customer Service, and Showroom Counter Sales staff to process orders and manage shipping/receiving accurately, safely, and on-time.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, procurement, planning, and customer service to ensure on-time product shipment.
• Set department budgets, ensure timely reporting, and follow up on warehousing issues.
• Maintain effective communication with all personnel involved.
• Monitor warehouse performance using daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (on-time shipping, fill rate, backorders).
• Oversee inventory management activities (cycle counts, variance reporting, replenishment, etc.).
• Hire, train, and supervise warehouse and driver staff.
• Support talent development and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with EH&S and other regulations.
• Uphold Richelieu’s core values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
