Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of drivers and staff at a busy Norcross distribution site. This role focuses on achieving customer goals while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency across daily operations.

You will drive plans to exceed performance targets, manage resources to optimize operations, and partner with customers and internal teams to deliver reliable service and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a dynamic operation.
• Ability to recruit, train, develop and retain staff.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with teams and customers.
• Ability to develop plans and execute them effectively, with financial oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead supervisors and associates, ensuring competency and alignment with customer objectives.
• Meet or exceed customer KPIs and collaborate daily with the local customer.
• Develop and execute the annual financial and operating plan for the operation.
• Foster a safety-first culture and address unsafe conditions and processes.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to reduce costs and improve service.
• Improve fleet/equipment utilization and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
