Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager for our Towanda Fairfield Inn. This role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel features, room types, rates, availability, and guest arrivals/departures.
  2. Hire, train, and develop hotel staff, ensuring all training standards are met.
  3. Review daily business levels, anticipate critical situations, and implement effective solutions.
  4. Prepare and adjust weekly work schedules based on staffing guidelines and business demands.
  5. Maintain knowledge of Night Audit procedures and train staff accordingly.
  6. Ensure timely completion of end-of-month reports.
  7. Assist staff to deliver optimal guest service.
  8. Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas.
  9. Ensure cashiering procedures comply with accounting policies.
  10. Handle guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of front office management experience in hospitality.
  • Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
  • Excellent communication skills with guests, management, and staff.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local attractions for guests.
