Hanes Geo Components, a division of Leggett & Platt, is seeking an Operations Manager in Houston, TX. The role leads shipping and production teams, sets daily schedules, and coordinates inbound and outbound logistics while aligning with purchasing for material planning and scheduling.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of supervision experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. forklift knowledge is a plus and a business/ops degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervision experience.
• Forklift knowledge a plus.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business/operations management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipping and production employees
• Establish shipping, receiving, and production schedule daily
• Establish inbound/outbound logistics daily
• Coordinate with Corporate purchasing for material planning
• Direct supervision of employees
• Additional duties may be required
