Job summary

United Rentals, the world''s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking an Operations Manager to coordinate delivery of quality service and maximize branch productivity. You will work with the Branch Manager to ensure safety, service excellence, and regulatory compliance across operations.

This role requires leadership, strong communication, and a customer-focused mindset to drive sales, staff development, and process improvement. U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related.
• Strong motivational and leadership skills.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in achieving financial objectives.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives.
• Manage performance of direct staff including Inside Sales Reps, Drivers, and other staff as applicable.
