Job summary

Rockwell Automation seeks a Plant Manager for its Munster, Indiana remanufacturing facility. You will lead all daily operations, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and ensure reliable delivery while meeting customer expectations.

This role requires Lean/Six Sigma proficiency and ERP/SAP experience. You will build strong teams, manage capacity, and implement continuous improvement programs to optimize KPIs like TAT and OTD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship not offered.
• Typically 2+ years of manufacturing/remanufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading teams and driving organizational change.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP systems (SAP), ISO 9001, and safety/compliance requirements.
• Continuous improvement mindset with strong communication and customer-focused decision-making skills.

Job Description

The Plant Manager is responsible for the leadership and performance of a remanufacturing facility. You will oversee production, quality, supply chain, maintenance, EH&S, and personnel activities to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable operations while meeting customer expectations for quality, turnaround time, and delivery. You will report to the Remanufacturing Operations Manager, NA and work on-site at our Munster, Indiana facility.

Your Responsibilities:

Operations Leadership

• Lead environmental, health, and safety programs.

• Improve customer satisfaction through reliable delivery and service performance.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Improve workflow, equipment utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and monitor KPIs such as: Utilization, Efficiency, Productivity, TAT, OTD, Quality.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• Typically requires 2+ years of manufacturing or remanufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading teams and driving organizational change.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP systems (SAP), quality systems (ISO 9001), and safety/compliance requirements.
• Continuous improvement mindset with strong communication, influence, and customer-focused decision-making skills.
