CLEARWATER PAPER CORP in Lewiston, ID is seeking a Mill Operations Leader to direct production, optimize processes, and set strategic direction for the site. You’ll ensure output meets plan quantities, budget targets, and quality standards while upholding a strong safety culture.
Reporting to the Mill Manager, you will lead safety programs, manage budgets, mentor and develop staff, and drive continuous improvement through kaizens and CI initiatives.

Lewiston is Clearwater Paper’s original manufacturing facility and home to nearly 700 dedicated team members who power our site. Together, we make paperboard used in products across the United States, including food packaging, plates, cups and more. Home to the first mill that produced poster board from wood waste, the site currently operates two paper machines, two extruders, two power boilers and two recovery boilers.
Located where the Snake and Clearwater rivers meet on the Idaho-Washington border, Lewiston offers an active outdoor lifecycle with easy access to fishing, boating, hiking and camping. The region’s milder climate means more rain than snow in the winter and long, sunny days in the summer.

Reporting to the Mill Manager, this role will focus on improving and optimizing current processes across our mill, establish strategic direction and execute operational excellence for operations. Directs the production operation and manages the most difficult problems involving the manufacturing process, ensuring the manufacture of products in planned quantities, at budgeted cost, and at desired quality.
