Summary:

The Operations Manager/Program Liaison is responsible for overseeing the operations and program management of the NGB Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Leads a large team of highly technical personnel and guides how to conduct MRT-C analysis on top priority USSF missions and assets and any follow-on.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the NGB Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention program.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the program and key stakeholders, including executive leadership and external partners.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and executive-level briefings on substance abuse and suicide prevention.
  • Ensure program compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate with other departments and agencies to ensure seamless program integration.
  • Manage program budgets and resources effectively.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on program progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Instructing and executive level briefing skills, which demonstrate flexibility with a variety of audiences and topics.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Shall have a Master's Degree in a Social Science or related field, or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum five years of national level practical experience.
  • Must be Level 1 Master Resilience Trainer (MRT) certified within 3 months of employment and Level 2 MRT certification within 6 months of Level 1 MRT certification.
  • Ability to pass a background check and eligible to obtain a Contractor Common Access Card (CAC).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in substance abuse and suicide prevention programs.
  • Previous experience working with the National Guard or similar organizations.
  • Advanced certifications or training in related fields.
