Job description

We are searching for anOperations Managerto work with our Client inPiscataway, NJ,reporting to the Warehouse General Manager.This is a direct-hire position. Send resumes to [e-mail] for consideration.

The night shift is from 4 PM-12:30 AM EST Monday-Friday. Starting total compensation is $70,000.

Responsibilities

– Leading the second shift consisting of 10-15 front line associates who support a cross-dock operation and pick/pack orders for our diverse array of customers

– Directly support our client’s retail consolidation business, driving on-time deliveries to world-class retailers like Walmart, Chewy.com, Amazon, and Kroger. The successful candidate will coordinate with other shift leaders to ensure smooth flow of freight in and out of the building, the freight operations team, customer service, and drivers

– The individual must be an outgoing, energetic, and data-driven individual who is constantly seeking to improve themselves, the operation, and their team

Requirements

– Five years of relevant experience in a cross-dock operation is required

– Comfort with technology, to include MS Excel, Outlook, and Teams

– The ability to focus under pressure

– Willingness to work evening shifts and overtime shifts, when required

– Experience with multiple warehouse management systemspreferred
