Job summary

Austin Allen Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager for a dynamic manufacturing environment in Memphis, TN. The role focuses on overseeing daily operations, ensuring production goals, safety, and adherence to policies and procedures.

You will implement and maintain operations processes, drive improvements in production, safety, and quality in the plant, and manage direct reports, budget, labor, CMMS, and safety training. A bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Over 7 years in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment.
• Experience with blending and filling machinery.
• Capital project management experience.
• Experience in setting goals and managing teams.
• Proven ability to increase productivity and reduce downtime.
• Strong safety management experience.

Operations Manager

Recruiting an Operations Manager for a dynamic manufacturer whose products are carried by major retailers and have a consistent market demand. Your main focus will be to oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure production goals, safety and policies and procedures.

You will use your skills to implement and maintain operations processes and procedures, making improvements and overseeing production, safety and quality in the plant. You’ll have several direct reports to manage and the budget, labor, CMMS, and safety training for all under your prevue.

Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial engineering preferred.

Minimum Requirements For This Operations Manager Position

• SAP Experience in a manufacturing environment as it relates to production planning, production orders, inventory management
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment
• Experience with machines that do blending and filling
• Capital Project management experience
• Experience in establishing goals and setting expectations for your team
• Experience in increasing productivity and eliminating downtown
• Strong experience in Safety
• Organized and detailed.
