Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling seeks an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations, including tire collection, processing, and production. You will drive efficiency, lead a high‑performing team, and coordinate with corporate and local teams to optimize yield and logistics.

The role demands strong leadership, P&L oversight, budgeting and a proven ability to manage manufacturing operations and transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role overseeing manufacturing ops and logistics.
• Proven track record of cost control, profitability and performance.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, fleet management and logistics.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across tire collection, processing, production and manufacturing optimization.
• Manage transportation team, ensuring service, routing and DOT compliance.
• Collaborate with corporate and local teams to maximize yield and rim collection.
• Create production plans, assign personnel, set priorities and monitor progress.
• Optimize run rates and production schedules while maintaining quality targets.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality and logistics.
• Lead and develop a high-performance team with coaching and performance reviews.
• Control operations costs via budgeting and identifying efficiency opportunities.
• Build relationships with large customers and landfills to ensure satisfaction.
• Act as interim General Manager as needed to support operations.
