Weatherford is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager - Liner Hangers to lead our Permian Liner Hanger team. This pivotal role will provide strategic support to achieve Weatherford's goals in the areas of Capital and Efficiency, inventory demand planning, technical stewardship, service excellence, Quality, and Personnel Development. The successful candidate will thrive in a challenging environment, independently managing projects and facilitating communication among all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Plan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of assigned projects, coordinating efforts among team members and related parties.
  • Provide Technical and Service Excellence input and support for the relevant area of expertise.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts and operations managers to document business processes and develop supporting materials.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to design and implement effective communication plans for new processes.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with regulatory bodies and industry forums.
  • Strategically leverage organizational resources to achieve growth in conjunction with product roll-out and offerings.
  • Address QHSE and Reliability issues, implementing strategies that maintain QHSE awareness throughout the workforce.
  • Develop and coordinate Personnel training and competency assessment.
  • Provide technical support for field operations and liaison with Engineering, Business Development, and Product Line Managers.
  • Research and coordinate key client technical requirements for management consideration.
  • Influence internal stakeholders and play a pivotal role in improving Company PL capabilities.
  • Track and communicate relevant KPIs in a meaningful and user-friendly manner to business leaders.
  • Comply with all Weatherford Quality Systems, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Workplace Instructions.
  • Understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Education

Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Minimum 6-9 years of relevant operational experience.

  • Solid interpersonal skills – projects a positive, customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent written, oral, and visual media communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a leader or member of a cross-functional project team with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organizational structure, including influencing across the matrix.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and with tight timelines, thriving in a challenging working environment with many simultaneous priorities.
  • Effective time management skills, routinely prioritizing a large number of tasks and reporting on project status.
  • Proficient or willing and able to train in JD Edwards to gain full understanding of functionality.
