Job summary

Weed Man is seeking a Manager in Training to support the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations at the Myrtle Beach location. You will assist in organizing work and coordinating the Technical and Marketing departments while helping lead a field team of lawn technicians.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2+ years of management experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a valid driver’s license. Pesticide licensing requirements may apply; training provided.

Qualifications

• Have 1-2+ years of related management experience in lawn/horticulture preferred.
• Valid, permanent driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Pesticide licensing as required by law.
• Ability to recruit and train staff and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a safe workplace for all employees through training and policy adherence.
• Quality Control compliance to ensure service standards are met.
• Plan and conduct new hire and ongoing training for lawn service personnel.
• Coach, train and develop future leaders within department.
• Recruit, interview and select talent that fits company culture.
• Track goals in the Business Plan on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Manage discipline and accountability standards.
• Conduct Performance Reviews.
• Partner with peers to help in goal achievements.
• Lead Daily/Weekly Production department meetings.
• Conduct vehicle inspections pre/post trip.
• Ensure licensing is maintained per law.
• Help recruit and train Door Knockers for Marketing Season.
