Penske Logistics in Northlake, TX is seeking an Operations Manager to lead drivers and staff, driving safety culture, customer service excellence, and strong financial performance. You will develop forward-looking plans and translate them into execution to meet the site business plan.

You will manage resources, coach teams, and coordinate with customer needs, while driving continuous improvements in routes, assets, and processes. A focus on training, safety and accountability is required.

Competenze

• 4 - 6 years related functional experience.
• 3+ years managerial or supervisory experience with DOT regulated positions required
• High School degree or equivalent required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint required
• Must have ability to connect and build rapport with associates and external customers

Mansioni

• Lead supervisors and associates to ensure training, competency and alignment with customer objectives
• Recruit, hire, train, develop and retain quality associates
• Establish two-way communication that informs, motivates and recognizes excellence
• Sustain relationships with associates, customers and supporting departments
• Meet or exceed customer KPIs and coordinate with local customer daily
• Identify operational improvements in routing, carrier selection and loading
• Collaborate with other Penske sites to share best practices
