Responsibilities

• Supervises employees involved in production and/or operation functions related to manufacturing of capital equipment and subsystems.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity and materials.
• Participates in operational meetings.
• Supports the development and tracking of organization performance metrics.
• Schedules and conducts milestone meetings.
• Responsible for meeting or improving cycle time performance and other metrics.
• Ensures timely response to operations issues impacting customer satisfaction; interfaces to ensure conformance to customer/vendor requirements; analyzes cost of quality and initiates corrective action.
• Oversees employee safety and training, including EH&S training.
• Develops personnel with training and career development; manages performance and coaching.
• Manages hiring, rewards and discipline processes.
• Analyzes production capacity, implements processes to collect and report key data.
• Identifies process and quality changes to improve capabilities.
• Drives Lean, Safety and Quality; takes corrective action.
