Responsibilities

• Oversee the transportation and logistics department's daily operations to ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently.
• Coordinate with internal departments, such as sales and customer service, to meet customer needs.
• Develop and implement transportation and logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
• Collaborate with external partners, such as carriers and suppliers, to maintain strong relationships and ensure reliable transportation services.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct regular audits of transportation and logistics processes to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Provide timely and accurate reports on transportation and logistics activities to management.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize transportation and logistics operations.
