Are you a proactive, detail-oriented leader with a passion for hospitality, real estate, or property management? We’re seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our established furnished rental and Airbnb business based in Durham, NC.
This hands-on, dynamic role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow with an expanding company. As we branch into commercial real estate and land development, this position offers significant opportunities for professional advancement.
• Schedule: Semi-flexible hours; some evenings and weekends required
Qualifications:
• 1–2+ years of management experience or a relevant degree in hospitality, property management, or real estate
• Preferred experience with vacation rentals, Airbnb, hotels, or property management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and results-driven
• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software and mobile apps
• Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment
• Effective with direct communication styles
• Must pass a background and criminal check
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations across a portfolio of short-term rental properties
• Conduct regular property inspections for inventory and quality control
• Promptly and professionally resolve guest issues
• Manage a team of cleaners, virtual assistants, handymen, and subcontractors
• Hire and train new team members and contractors as needed
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and renovations
• Maintain strong communication with vendors, property owners, and guests
• Execute the setup of new furnished rental listings
• Develop and document processes to streamline and grow the business
• Assist with other real estate projects and deals
• Support various administrative and special projects as needed
