Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC in Houston is seeking a full-time Operations Manager to lead branch operations and drive growth in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

You will manage planning, staffing, and quality control, coach the operations team, and ensure exceptional service across all installed accounts while overseeing contracts from planning to invoicing.

Qualifications

• Experience in 3-5 years operations within the fire alarm industry or related fields.
• Strong management and leadership abilities with a focus on results.
• Education: college degree, trade school or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee and coordinate branch operation activities including operations planning, qualifying potential business, and review of proposals and bookings.
• Coach, council and train the Operations force to improve individual skills.
• Overall responsibility for customer satisfaction on all installed accounts.
• Oversee execution of contracts: cost vs actual cost, review, supervision of labor and subcontractors, planning, scheduling, invoicing and collections.
• Perform other duties as requested.

What You'll Need

• Strong management skills related to Project Management.
• Leadership Orientation – Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the Operations Department; Strong team leadership, team building and facilitation skills.
• Strong financial analytical skills including cost control.
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: 3-5 years operations within the fire alarm industry, service or field or project management.

Preferred Experience: (but not required):

• Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or healthcare
