Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager to enhance operational success within their supply chain. This role involves leading maintenance teams, optimizing equipment, and ensuring safety standards. The pay range is $71,000.00 - $128,000.00.
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience, and certifications. About the job:
As an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager, you will foster a reliability-centered maintenance culture to ensure high equipment availability and operational success. You will lead Maintenance Technicians, Utility Attendants, and EAM Software Technicians, promoting urgency and quality. Responsibilities include solving complex problems, optimizing material handling equipment, managing contractors, handling emergencies, overseeing projects, and meeting deadlines. You will develop a continuous improvement culture, focusing on root cause analysis and system reliability, and collaborate with other leaders to meet departmental goals.
You will also be responsible for team leadership, development, coaching, and performance management, including onboarding and training. Building positive relationships within the organization is essential.
You will ensure performance metrics are accurate and timely, develop work plans for emergencies, promote safety standards, and investigate safety incidents. Managing the health and lifecycle of site equipment, approving expenditures, and overseeing external repairs are key duties. Maintaining data integrity and Asset Management standards is also required.
