Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an Operations Manager to lead our new data center services team in Charlotte, NC. The role oversees field operations for data center construction, mechanical support, commissioning and related services, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and full regulatory compliance.

The position manages operations at the branch, driving KPI targets, resource optimization, and adherence to company policies. Travel is required up to 50% to support diverse projects and customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related required.
• 5-7 years' relevant experience in one of our lines of business or related field.
• Ability to travel 50%.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Manage and coordinate the efforts and Health and Safety oversight of Clean Harbors/HPC employees.
• Ensure utilization of all equipment and manpower is maximized.
• Develop, monitor and measure against operational and financial KPI's.
• Establish processes to measure performance of all personnel to continuously improve performance levels.
• Ensure infrastructure and employees are equipped to conduct business efficiently and are able to perform well in their jobs.
• Develop and ensure compliance with all company and customer policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

This individual will lead field operations for data center construction , specialty mechanical support, commissioning - mechanical flushing, chemical passivation, water filtration, and industrial cleaning - while ensuring every job is delivered safely, on schedule, and in full compliance to join their team!
