This position directly manages assigned caregivers.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:**Develops and executes the strategic plan for the Community Pharmacy enterprise.Develops business growth through physician outreach, referrals, new pharmacy services, payor opportunities, clinic partnerships, and central fill utilization.Manages and supports the Pharmacists-in-Charge at Community Pharmacy locations.Ensures compliance with regulatory agency standards for Medication Management as it pertains to drug procurement, storage, preparation, and distribution.Assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of high-quality pharmaceutical care, maintaining compliance with pertinent laws and regulations. Collaborates with other leaders to ensure system alignment.Establishes systems to prevent, monitor, respond to and report drug diversion.Establishes and continuously improves upon systems to achieve medication safety and quality outcomes.Manages the resources necessary to support the successful operations of community pharmacy services.Mentors caregivers and participates in leadership development.Responsible for budget development, regular monitoring, accountability, capital planning, revenue optimization, and meeting all operational targets for areas within span of control.Creates and optimizes system workflows, standard work, and key performance indicators (KPIs).Hires, directs, coaches and monitors the performance of all direct reports, to develop and maintain a high-performance team that meets organizational and department goals.Monitors and ensures all direct reports are current with compliance and safety requirements.
