Responsibilities The UDSD JV Trust & Safety Operations team is responsible for executing and overseeing day-to-day Human moderation activities. Our mission is to transform moderation from a labor-intensive process into a data-driven, system-powered operation that balances efficiency and accuracy, enabling TikTok to become the most trusted platform.

About the Role

This role is an execution-focused role within OEA. This role is responsible for driving the successful execution of a few major organization-wide programs at a time (e.g., Kepler, AIM), ensuring strong cross‑functional alignment, disciplined milestone management, risk visibility, and effective operational rollout and adoption.

Responsibilities
  • Drive execution of a few major organization-wide programs at a time, with clear ownership of milestone tracking, dependency management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Partner with global initiative owners (Global Platform Responsibility, Policy, etc.) with USDS internal teams to ensure operational alignment, readiness, and follow-through.
  • Translate large-scale initiatives into clear operational plans, stakeholder actions, and implementation pathways across relevant LoBs.
  • Ensure operational rollout and adoption plans are in place, including readiness checks, issue tracking, and follow-up after launch.
  • Surface risks, blockers, and cross‑functional dependencies early, driving resolution through strong coordination and escalation.
  • Embed both Operational Excellence and Automation into execution by identifying opportunities to simplify processes and strengthen operational scalability through change delivery.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 5 years in program execution, operations management, implementation, change delivery or other cross‑functional operational execution roles.
  • Execution Leadership: Strong experience driving complex, cross‑functional initiatives with clear ownership of milestones, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Rollout and Adoption: Demonstrated ability to translate large initiatives into operational rollout plans and ensure successful implementation and adoption across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination: Proven ability to work effectively with central teams (Product, Policy, Global Platform, Engineering) while staying aligned with original project owners.
  • Operational Judgment: Strong ability to identify blockers, manage ambiguity, escalation appropriately, and maintain delivery momentum across complex environments.
  • Communication and Visibility: Excellent communication skills, providing structured updates on progress, risks, trade‑offs, and execution health to leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Trust & Safety, large‑scale operations, or high‑complexity rollout environments.

Job Information

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $110223 - $241200 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognise employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
