Position Overview

This position is accountable for performing and monitoring a variety of default loan servicing events within timelines and workflow processes on files. You will be responsible for developing process improvements in accordance with established work rules, goals, and objectives to improve timelines and attorney performance. You are expected to establish and maintain procedures, foster a culture of team collaboration, accountability, operational excellence, and unwavering commitment to customer service and satisfaction.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

  1. Manage the day-to-day functions within the property preservation, post-sale, hazard claims, and REO Department.
  2. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines through extensive knowledge of all aspects of these processes.
  3. Oversee daily pipeline of files to ensure compliance with requirements.
  4. Monitor and identify trends or risks in the portfolio.
  5. Recommend process improvements to minimize risk exposure.
  6. Adhere strictly to departmental and business policies.
  7. Prioritize work to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.
  8. Stay current with regulatory and legal changes impacting processes.
  9. Follow up diligently on requests and communications from partners.
  10. Manage exception reporting to control risks.
  11. Assist as needed and implement goals, standards, and policies.
  12. Lead and evaluate staff, develop work teams, and improve policies and procedures.
  13. Handle complex problems requiring original analysis and in-depth evaluation.

Minimum Requirements

  1. 3+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  2. 5+ years of experience in property preservation, post-sale, hazard claims, and REO within a Mortgage Servicing Organization.
  3. Experience with GSE and GNMA Investors and MI companies.
  4. Strong knowledge of mortgage servicing and related documentation.
  5. Experience with MSP, LoanSphere, Yardi (P260), FHA Connection, Catalyst.
  6. Self-starter with problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to research issues and obtain proper documentation promptly.
  8. Understanding of mortgage default processes (Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, etc.).
  9. Extreme attention to detail and adherence to guidelines.
  10. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and provide excellent customer service.
  11. Ability to work independently and complete assignments.
  12. Excellent communication skills, including coaching and leadership.

Salary Range

$114,625.00 - $152,825.00 annually. Compensation depends on experience, skills, and location.
