Job description

Position Overview

This position is responsible for performing and monitoring a variety of default loan servicing events within established timelines and workflows. The role includes developing process improvements to enhance timelines and attorney performance, establishing procedures, fostering team collaboration, accountability, operational excellence, and maintaining a strong customer service commitment.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities

  1. Manage daily operations within the property preservation, post-sale, hazard claims, and REO departments.
  2. Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines across all processes.
  3. Oversee daily pipeline to meet regulatory requirements.
  4. Identify trends or risks in the portfolio and recommend process improvements.
  5. Adhere strictly to departmental and business policies.
  6. Prioritize work to ensure timely resolution for partners.
  7. Stay updated on regulatory and legal changes affecting processes.
  8. Follow up on all outstanding requests and calls from partners.
  9. Manage exception reporting to control risks.
  10. Assist team members as needed.
  11. Set and implement goals, standards, policies, and procedures.
  12. Lead and develop staff, ensuring effective training and morale.
  13. Handle complex problems requiring originality and in-depth analysis.
  14. Exercise judgment within broad policies to achieve results.

Minimum Requirements

  1. At least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
  2. Over 5 years of experience in property preservation, post-sale, hazard claims, and REO within a Mortgage Servicing Organization.
  3. Experience with GSE, GNMA Investors, and MI companies.
  4. Strong knowledge of mortgage servicing and relevant documentation.
  5. Experience with MSP, LoanSphere, Yardi (P260), FHA Connection, Catalyst.
  6. Self-motivated problem solver.
  7. Proficient in research and documentation for investor or mortgage insurance requirements.
  8. Understanding of mortgage default processes (Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Loss Mitigation, Eviction).
  9. Attention to detail and adherence to guidelines.
  10. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with excellent customer service.
  11. Independent work capability and effective communication skills.

Salary Range: $114,625.00 - $152,825.00 annually. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and location.
