Job summary

The Grounds Guys of Elkhart & Goshen is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to lead our lawn care, landscape, and snow removal teams for residential and commercial accounts across Elkhart, Goshen, Mishawaka, and South Bend, IN.

You will plan, schedule, and dispatch jobs, manage project managers and crews, monitor costs, and ensure quality, safety, and profitability throughout the year in a supportive, family-owned culture.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of operations management experience in landscaping, lawn care, or snow removal.
• Proven ability to lead project managers and crews with schedules, budgets, materials, equipment, and logistics.
• Strong knowledge of softscape/hardscape, irrigation, turf management, and winter operations.

What You’ll Do

As our Operations Manager, you’ll plan, direct, and optimize the production side of the business.

• Plan, schedule, and dispatch all jobs for lawn care, landscape installation, and snow removal
• Manage project managers and crew leads for peak efficiency, quality, and safety
• Oversee materials procurement, inventory control, equipment maintenance, fleet logistics, and routing
• Monitor job costing, timelines, change orders, and profitability
• Coordinate high-level client communications, vendor relations, and daily operational flow

You’ll take full ownership of a diverse mix of residential and major commercial accounts with direct accountability for operational success year-round.

What You Bring

• At least 3–5 years of operations management experience in landscaping, lawn care, or snow removal
• Proven ability to lead project managers and crews while managing schedules, budgets, materials, equipment, and logistics
• Strong knowledge of softscape/hardscape, irrigation, turf management, and winter operations
