Serve as an entry-level professional staff member supporting the daily operations of the Division of Financial Aid’s (DFA) Stewart Office. In this role you will build strong working relationships with departments across campus and represent DFA with professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion. The position requires strong organizational and project management skills to effectively coordinate and execute multiple ongoing projects simultaneously. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information is needed. You will assist with all aspects of aid processing for Purdue, private, and federal loans and provide front‑desk financial aid counseling to prospective and current students and their families to support timely, student‑focused service.
As a member of the Operations Manager team and under the guidance of the Associate Director, you will help coordinate staff meetings, trainings, travel, and related logistics for the Division of Financial Aid. This person will also contribute to the supervision and support of student employees, fostering a collaborative, service‑oriented environment.
All positions include travel as well as evening and weekend work. A background check will be required for employment. FLSA: Exempt (Not Eligible for Overtime). Retirement Eligibility: Defined Contribution Waiting Period.
