Location: 80% Riverdale, MD | 20% Remote

Job Type: Full-Time

Security Clearance: TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph

Target Salary Range*: $165,000 - $180,000.

Overview

Provides Program Manager with support by overseeing operations on the Task Order to ensure all applications are up and functioning to the satisfaction of the customer. Work closely with Application Project Managers (APMs) and task leads to prepare the weekly activities report and assist in the preparation of the Program Monthly Review (PMR) briefing slides. The Operations Manager should be well versed in infrastructure, server-side application, and client-side application monitoring. Knowledgeable of Configuration Management; must ensure that the development environment facilitates product review, change, and defect tracking activities. Position located in Riverdale, MD – potential for some hybrid remote flexibility – TBD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Writing and maintaining the configuration management plan
  • Reporting progress based on change requests
  • Understanding configuration management principles
  • Preferably having experience or training in the use of configuration management tools
Process Execution
  • Managing the approved process
  • Reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of the process
  • Performing process audits
  • Managing the process improvement cycle
Quality Assurance
  • Administer or advise on work concerning assuring the quality of the acquired, developed, delivered, and maintained products. This includes the development of plans and programs for achieving and maintaining product quality throughout the product’s life cycle
  • Monitoring operations to prevent the production of defects and to verify adherence to quality plans and requirements
  • Analysis and investigation of adverse quality trends or conditions and initiation of corrective action
Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Create and Update the Integrated Master Schedule IMS
  • Incorporate all projects into one consolidated view that depicts the overall program schedule status
  • Develop and maintain individual application IMSs based on ECPs. The IMS shall be developed and maintained within the Government utilized program and/or systems and provided to the Government on a monthly basis (as a minimum) or be readily accessed by the Government
  • Incorporates individual application schedules based on ECPs

The duties of these positions require analytical ability combined with knowledge and application of assurance principles and techniques, and knowledge of pertinent product characteristics and the associated processes and techniques. The candidate must be analytical and effectively able to prioritize needs, requirements and other issues.

Prospective candidates should have strong risk management skills, excellent communication, teamwork, leadership, and conflict management skills.

Required Qualifications
  • Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in information technology, or information management, or eight (8) years of comparable work experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years of program/application operations experience.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; strong problem-solving abilities; ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively; detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer candidates who have experience in the Intelligence Community
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance/Quality Control measures
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management
