Job summary

PrimeSource Building Products is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead warehouse and distribution operations at the Stockton facility, driving safety, accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement.

You will manage daily shipping/receiving, inventory, staffing, and KPI initiatives while coaching supervisors and coordinating with cross-functional teams to sustain high performance and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in operations leadership.
• 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution leadership.
• Experience leading supervisors and large hourly teams.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory, shipping/receiving, safety compliance.
• Experience with WMS, ERP, SAP, or related systems.
• Proven ability to drive performance and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse and distribution center operations including shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment.
• Drive KPI management, productivity improvements, and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards and company policies.
• Develop and coach warehouse supervisors and associates.
• Manage labor planning, staffing, scheduling, and workflow prioritization.
• Collaborate with transportation, sales, customer service, and supply chain teams to ensure service levels.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on efficiency, quality, safety, and cost reduction.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
• Support onboarding and performance management programs.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and improve performance.
• Ensure inbound/outbound freight meets timelines and customer expectations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and oversee daily warehouse and distribution center operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
• Drive operational excellence through KPI management, productivity improvements, and process optimization
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, OSHA regulations, safety standards, and operating procedures
• Develop, coach, and lead warehouse supervisors, leads, coordinators, and warehouse associates
• Manage labor planning, staffing, scheduling, and workflow prioritization
• Monitor inventory accuracy and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies
• Partner with transportation, sales, customer service, and supply chain teams to ensure excellent customer service
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, safety, and cost reduction
• Maintain high standards of warehouse organization, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance
• Support onboarding, performance management, employee development, and corrective action processes
• Analyze operational data and reporting to identify trends and improve overall performance
• Ensure outbound and inbound freight operations meet customer expectations and delivery timelines
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational discipline

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and operational leadership experience
• 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution leadership experience
• Prior experience leading supervisors and large hourly teams preferred
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping/receiving, and safety compliance
• Experience with WMS, ERP, SAP, or related operational systems
• Proven ability to drive performance, accountability, and process improvement
• Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and coaching skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Forklift/PIV experience or certification preferred
