Job summary

PrimeSource Building Products seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead warehouse and distribution operations across our nationwide network. You’ll drive safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while building strong teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment, and coordinate with sales, service, and supply chain to ensure exceptional customer service and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and operational leadership experience.
• 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution leadership experience.
• Prior experience leading supervisors and large hourly teams preferred.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping/receiving, and safety compliance.
• Experience with WMS, ERP, SAP, or related operational systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily warehouse and distribution center operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Drive operational excellence through KPI management, productivity improvements, and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, OSHA regulations, safety standards, and operating procedures.
• Develop, coach, and lead warehouse supervisors, leads, coordinators, and warehouse associates.
• Manage labor planning, staffing, scheduling, and workflow prioritization.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Partner with transportation, sales, customer service, and supply chain teams to ensure excellent customer service.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, safety, and cost reduction.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse organization, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
• Support onboarding, performance management, employee development, and corrective action processes.
• Analyze operational data and reporting to identify trends and improve overall performance.
• Ensure outbound and inbound freight operations meet customer expectations and delivery timelines.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational discipline.

This position operates primarily within a warehouse and distribution environment. Consistent on-site leadership presence is required to effectively support operations, safety, employee engagement, and customer service.
