Job summary

CDimension in San Jose, CA is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing and supply chain activities, coordinating across engineering, production, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

Role Description

The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in San Jose, CA. This position oversees day-to-day operational activities, including production planning, workflow optimization, and coordination across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams. The role involves developing and implementing operational processes, monitoring performance metrics, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and products. The Operations Manager will support resource planning, budgeting, and capacity management, while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. This individual will also help build operational infrastructure as the company scales, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong operations management skills, including process optimization, workflow design, and performance tracking.
• Experience with production planning, supply chain coordination, and vendor or supplier management.
• Ability to implement and improve systems for inventory control, logistics, and resource allocation.
• Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools to support decision-making and KPI monitoring.
• Demonstrated skills in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication.
• Background in hardware, semiconductor, advanced materials, or related high-tech manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with quality, safety, and compliance standards relevant to manufacturing or R&D operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in San Jose, CA and support a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
