Job summary

American Signal Equipment, part of the Helix Traffic Solutions network, seeks an Operations Manager to lead branch operations, guide managers, and ensure project delivery. You will build client relationships, coordinate labor and equipment, and drive policy compliance across sites.

The role emphasizes hands-on construction management, quality control, and cross-branch collaboration to support safe, reliable traffic infrastructure nationwide.

Qualifications

• Must have previously been a Branch Manager and/or possess managerial experience in Traffic Control and Permanent Sign Installation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead branch managers in operations of American Signal Equipment.
• Build client relationships and develop strategies related to company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate labor and equipment logistics between branches.
• Serve as a hands-on role in construction management including project completion by deadlines.
• Ensure quality compliance.
• Facilitate discussions and problem solving at branch and corporate level.
• Bidding projects and managing finance reports.

Operations Manager

American Signal Equipment currently has an Operations Manager position available. To qualify you must have previously been a Branch Manager and/or possess managerial experience in Traffic Control and Permanent Sign Installation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead branch managers in operations of American Signal Equipment.
• Build client relationships and develop strategies related to company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate labor and equipment logistics between branches
• Serve as a hands‑on role in every aspect of construction management including completing projects by completion dates.
• Ensure quality compliance
• Facilitating discussions and problem solving at a branch and corporate level
• Bidding projects
• Meet and work closely with other executives
• Analyze reports and financial statements
• Other duties assigned by the General Manager of Americsn Signal Equipment.

Compensation Offered:

• Eligible for health insurance after averaging 30 hours per week for 60 days
• Eligible to participate in employer matching 401K and profit sharing
• Discretionary Time Off and Holiday Pay per company policy – see Paid Leave Policy
• Eligible for employer paid life insurance, benefit amount of $50,000 at no cost to employee
• Eligible for additional supplemental life insurance, short and long term disability insurance
