Are you an Operations Manager with fabrication and manufacturing experience, looking to join a forward thinking company where you will develop your own production department and immediately step into a Directorship level role?

This company boasts an excellent reputation within their sector, maintains strong staff retention, and has been successfully operating for over 50 years. They have recently acquired the adjacent property to their current facility and are preparing for significant expansion of their manufacturing capabilities in the near future.

In this position, you will manage a team of 35 hourly employees and 4 supervisors. Your responsibilities will include driving continuous improvement, implementing lean manufacturing strategies, and leading cost-saving initiatives across the plant. This role will also have the planning, scheduling, and purchasing departments report into you. This is a varied role with a balance between office-based tasks and time spent on the manufacturing shop floor.

This role would suit a Production/Operations Manager with experience working in a fabrication environment, eager to leave their mark on a respected business and step into a technically advanced industry.

The Role:

• Oversee several supervisors and 30+ hour employees.
• Track department KPI statistics, drive continuous improvements and develop lean manufacturing processes.
• Monday – Friday, day shift. Split between the office and shop floor.

• Operations / Manufacturing / Production Manager
• Metal fabrication manufacturing experience is essential.
