Job summary

Leading Food & Beverage Manufacturing Company in the Philadelphia area seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead high-volume production operations at a major facility. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement while meeting site financial objectives.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing leadership in food/beverage sectors, with a hands-on approach to lean and operational excellence, and experience with SAP/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience within food, beverage, ingredients, consumer packaged goods, or similar manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading large production and operations teams.
• Strong background in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence programs.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume, 24/7 manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated success implementing systems, processes, and operational disciplines that improve plant performance.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and change management skills.
• Experience with SAP, ERP systems, scheduling tools, CMMS, MES, or similar manufacturing technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing and production support operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Foster a culture centered on safety, food safety, quality, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Develop and coach manufacturing teams while building a high-performance, collaborative culture.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and boost productivity.
• Partner with Quality to maintain and improve quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
• Manage operational budgets, resource allocation, and manufacturing performance metrics.
• Oversee plant assets, infrastructure, maintenance, and equipment reliability to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, food safety, and quality standards.
