Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Operations Manager to lead our newly acquired Naples branch. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring a smooth integration into our broader operations while upholding service standards, developing team members, and driving operational performance.

The ideal candidate is a people-first leader who thrives in high-accountability environments, has deep knowledge of horticulture and landscape services, and can lead a legacy team through a period of transition and growth. This role requires someone who can effectively leverage resources from our Jupiter branch and collaborate across departments to achieve shared goals.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Oversee daily operations at the Naples branch, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery
• Monitor route efficiency, equipment use, labor productivity, and job performance
• Implement standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with safety and labor regulations
• Collaborate with the Jupiter office and other branches to align on company-wide standards and solutions

Team Development & Performance

• Lead, coach, and support field teams including crew leaders, trimmers, mowers, and pest control technicians
• Schedule team members strategically based on availability and skillset
• Conduct performance evaluations, coach for growth, and support career development
• Build a strong team culture rooted in accountability and mutual respect

Client Satisfaction & Relationship Management

• Ensure a consistent and high-level customer experience across all accounts
• Address client feedback professionally and promptly
• Build long-term client relationships to drive retention and satisfaction
• Own and manage the branch’s profit and loss (P&L)
• Track labor hours, overtime, and equipment usage to manage costs and ensure payroll accuracy
• Collaborate with the accounting team and Jupiter office to ensure accurate job costing and reporting

Integration & Culture Alignment

• Lead the successful integration of the Naples branch into the broader Lucky Landscaping operation
• Reinforce company values, culture, and service standards
• Partner with HR on onboarding, employee changes, and team performance

Strategic & Administrative Execution

• Maintain operational documentation including logs, reports, and field records
• Use internal systems like LMN and SharePoint for time tracking, payroll processes, and communication
• Work cross-functionally with central office departments in Jupiter to drive consistency and performance

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations leadership experience, ideally in landscaping, or a field-based service industry
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, turf care, pruning standards, and landscape maintenance best practices
• Proven ability to read and implement landscape plans and manage crews on active job sites
• Understanding of labor compliance, employee classification, and payroll basics
• Experience leading teams through growth, change, or acquisition
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and organizational skills

Preferred Technical Skills

• Familiarity with LMN (Landscape Management Network)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and planning
• Experience using SharePoint or similar document collaboration systems
• Base Salary: $100,000 – $120,000, depending on experience
• Performance Bonus: Based on branch profitability, client satisfaction, and operational success
• Commission Opportunities: Available for upselling or new business referrals
• Company Vehicle: Provided for work-related travel
