Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing is seeking an Operations Manager for a growing CT manufacturing facility in the Danbury area. You will lead all plant operations, influence the ERP rollout, and shape a pathway into senior leadership as the current team retires.

The role oversees production, quality, purchasing, and logistics, with a five-day on-site schedule. Occasional travel to the UK for management meetings and a broad scope across capacity planning, resources, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Operations or Supply Chain management in a managerial/leadership capacity.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/365 suite.
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead all plant operations, including production, quality assurance, purchasing, and logistics.
• Develop operational strategies supporting productivity, safety, and cost-efficiency.
• Monitor production KPIs (throughput, yield, downtime, on-time delivery) and drive improvements.
• Manage manufacturing schedules, staffing levels, and resource allocation.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for production issues.
• Develop and monitor operational budgets and capital expenditures.
