Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking an Operations Manager for the New Johnsonville Plant in New Johnsonville, TN. The role focuses on operations strategy, productivity, safety, quality, and cost control, while leading frontline teams to achieve strong results.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, 6+ years in manufacturing operations, and solid knowledge of PSM, EHS, and regulatory compliance. Relocation may be required; SAP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, including leadership in a high-hazard or highly regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership of frontline teams and supervisors with accountability for safety, quality, production, and team building results.
  • Strong working knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM), EHS systems, and regulatory compliance in an industrial setting.
  • Proven ability to deliver results through KPIs, operational discipline, and performance management.
  • Willingness to relocate in the future.

Chemours is seeking an Operations Manager to join our growing team. This position will be available at the New Johnsonville Plant location in New Johnsonville, TN.

The following is required for this role:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field

The following is preferred for this role:


  • Lean / Six Sigma certification or supporting a Lean transformation

  • Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP) and data driven decision making
