Job summary

Raising Cane’s is seeking an Operations Manager (OM) in Milford, CT. The OM collaborates with the Restaurant Leader to drive operational excellence and uphold Raising Cane’s standards and culture across all restaurant operations.

The role focuses on executing restaurant operations, managing shifts, cash handling, and ensuring exceptional service while maintaining safety and cleanliness. On-site position with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of Restaurant or retail management experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends.
• Detail-oriented, organized with strong communication.
• Proficient with technology systems including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Executes Restaurant operations functions.
• Acts as manager on duty and opens and closes the Restaurant.
• Manages cash handling and ensures accountability.
• Enforces Raising Cane’s policies and standards.
• Executes shift management meetings and safety standards.
• Uses tools and logs to support shift execution and corrective actions.
• Deploys Crewmembers during a shift and provides exemplary customer service.
• Utilizes reward programs and recognizes staff performance.
• Authorizes manager-level actions (discounts, promotions, timeclock overrides).
• Ensures cleanliness and proper functioning of the restaurant.

Your Role at Raising Cane’s:

The Operations Manager (OM) is responsible for supporting the Restaurant Leader in leading operational excellence of the Restaurant and upholding Raising Cane’s standards and culture in all areas of Restaurant operations.

Essential Functions:

The following requirements describe what is needed to successfully perform the role. Reasonable accommodation may be provided to support individuals with disabilities:

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs., bend, kneel, twist and reach overhead or below the waist


• Navigate stairs, move quickly and stay on your feed throughout the shift


• Take orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and communicate clear-cut eve


• Work safely around hot cooking equipment, cleaning supplies, and common ingredients like oil and flour


• Maintain a clean, safe Restaurant while following all food safety and company procedures


• Occasionally drive on behalf of the Company for work-related purposes (e.g., picking up product for the Restaurant) when required by business needs (e.g., when a salaried leader is on a leave of absence or there is a role vacancy)

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older


• High school diploma or equivalent required


• 3+ years of Restaurant or retail management experience


• Possess a valid, state-issued driver's license


• Must complete all required Raising Cane’s company training programs


• Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends and travel as needed for work-related functions and training


• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing


• Self-driven, flexible, and energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills


• Able to recognize and analyze problems, set goals, create and convert plans into action to solve problems


• Proficient in a variety of technology systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly

Preferred Qualifications:

• New Restaurant opening experience
