  • Lead scheduling, purchasing, subcontractor coordination, and production planning across multiple active projects
  • Review project budgets, monitor job costs, and maintain profitability throughout construction
  • Analyze P&L performance, purchasing decisions, construction costs, and operational metrics to improve financial performance

  • Help develop scalable systems and processes that support continued expansion
  • Mentor field personnel while helping build the next generation of operational leadership

  • Extensive knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, and quality control
  • Strong experience with purchasing, subcontractor management, and vendor negotiations
  • Demonstrated understanding of construction financials, including job costing, purchasing, budgets, cash flow, and P&L management
  • Ability to analyze project profitability and make operational decisions that improve financial performance

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and hold subcontractors accountable
  • Highly organized with outstanding judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail
Nice-to-Haves as the Operations Manager:

  • Experience managing the operational and financial performance of a residential construction business
  • Experience overseeing purchasing strategy and company-wide construction operations
  • Knowledge of construction lending, financing, and residential development economics
  • Experience helping grow or scale a luxury homebuilding company
  • Interest in long-term executive leadership and eventual ownership opportunities
Our Client Offers:
  • Competitive base salary of $200,000-$240,000, depending on experience
  • Performance-based profit-sharing opportunity tied to company success
  • Rare opportunity to become the owner's trusted operational partner
  • Clear path toward increased leadership responsibility as the business continues to grow
  • Ownership participation for the right long-term leader
  • Opportunity to join one of the premier luxury custom homebuilders in the Plymouth market
  • Stable pipeline of high-end custom homes and luxury renovations
