Job summary

SBM Management in Lebanon, IN is seeking an Operations Manager to coordinate and direct operations to fulfill contractual responsibilities, including planning, supervision, budgeting, vendor and supply contact, and high-level management duties.

The role requires leadership, scheduling, safety, quality and service inspections, budgeting, and coordination with customers and contractors, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• A.A. Degree in Business Management or related field with 2+ years experience or equivalent
• Must have strong scheduling and budgeting abilities
• Bilingual ability is a plus; forklift certification may be required

Title:Operations ManagerJob Description:Now Hiring: Operations Manager- Lebanon, INShift: 6a-4p, M-F Weekends as neededCompensation: $70,000-$80,000Job OverviewAssist with coordinating and directing operations necessary to carry out contractual responsibilities between SBM and customers including any and all necessary planning, supervision, budgeting, vendor and supply contact, customer relations and other high level managerial or supervisor responsibilities.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.May develop work schedules to ensure adequate service.Prepares schedules for service personnel, assigns personnel to routes and monitors compliance.Performs Inspections and evaluation of establishment for program compliance, i.e. safety, quality, and service.Helps monitor inventories supplies and equipment.May be assigned special projects to manageInvestigates and promotes improved equipment and methods.Reviews customer requests for service to ascertain cause for service request, type of malfunction, and address with manager.Assists with implementation and execution of policies and goals.Inspects plant and evaluates use of space and facilities.Assists with plans, budgets, and schedule modifications including cost estimates bid sheets and contracts.Participate in the development of long-range plans, conceptual designs, and capital outlay requirements for program/process improvements.Assists with coordination of program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts, and associated documents.Maintain a safe work environment for self and employees.Assists with compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, such as, FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc.Acts as liaison between company, customers, clients, employees, and subcontractors.Reviews correspondence concerning contractors and responds as appropriate.Establishes and maintains contact with contractors to ensure the smooth working of the contract process.Conduct and attend meetings to communicate top down, and bottom up on a consistent real time basis, with customers, clients, and employees.Assist with human resource concerns and issues.Some travel may be required for this position.QualificationTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
