Job summary

Clear Channel Outdoor in Las Vegas is seeking an Operations Manager to lead all building, construction, and maintenance operations for outdoor advertising structures, buildings, and fleet assets. Responsibilities

  • Lead production and structure maintenance operations including construction, installations and material management.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing and finance to set pricing for production services and bids.
  • Provide operational counsel focusing on productivity, cost, safety, environmental issues, and new build opportunities.
  • Set targets for productivity, safety, cost, regulatory compliance, inventory control and purchasing.
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and safety regulations and ensure customer quality standards.
  • Coordinate production schedules and priorities based on client needs and workload; manage vendor quotes and purchases.
  • Oversee records, inventory, and reporting; manage department budgeting and planning.
  • Initiate and implement new technology, methods and procedures; manage fleet and equipment records.
  • Represent the company at local agency hearings and inquiries as appropriate; act as on-call for building security emergencies.

Job Summary

Clear Channel Outdoor Job Summary: The Operations Manager leads all operations relating to building and construction. This role is responsible for production, as well as servicing and maintaining outdoor advertising structures (including electrical), buildings, and fleet vehicles. The Operations Manager works closely with the Regional Operations Manager to deliver results within budget and on time while maintaining a high-quality work product.

Job Responsibilities

Manages production and structure maintenance operations including construction, installations and material management activities. Collaborates with sales, marketing and finance to set pricing for production services, extensions and other operations-oriented aspects of the outdoor buy; provide pricing and timing estimates for bids and proposals. Provides operational counsel to branch with emphasis on productivity, cost, safety, environmental issues, technology, new build opportunities and production capabilities. Sets targets and standards for productivity, safety, cost, regulatory compliance, inventory control and purchasing. Monitors, audits and reports on compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and company safety regulations. Ensures department meets expectations of CCO Service Guarantee with regards to Operations Department specifications, meeting customer quality standards and fulfilling client contracts. Coordinates & revises production schedules and priorities based on Client needs and workload Works with vendors to obtain quotes and makes purchase of materials & equipment as needed. Performs administrative activities necessary for effective management of department, including the selection & development of employees; records management; budget administration; planning, organizing and measuring work performance within the department; and negotiating union contracts (where applicable). Initiates, evaluates and implements new technology, methods and procedures. Maintains accurate records for inventory of materials, clients, personnel and other reporting purposes. Oversees records & maintenance of entire fleet of vehicles, cranes and other equipment. Represents the company at local agency hearings, inquiries, inspections, etc. as appropriate. Act as the on call contact for building security system(s) and emergencies. Other duties as assigned. Utilizes all required systems and technology tools on regular basis to ensure effective tracking and reporting of operational activities.

Job Qualifications

Education and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience. Work Experience: Seven (7) + years of related work experience.

Skills

Demonstrated leadership experience including experience building and nurturing a team. Strong analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills and able to multi-task and balance multiple priorities. Able to partner successfully with internal and external groups (such as vendors, clients, CCOA sales, and real estate, etc.). Proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Other Requirements

Able to travel outside of the office 25% of the time for client meetings, corporate meetings, and industry events. Able to safely climb structures to inspect items such as client postings (as needed). Has a valid driver’s license. Access to a reliable vehicle.
