Salary: $50K-$55K/yr.

Job Summary:The Operations Manager at Elev8 Fun is responsible for managing the daily operations of the entertainment center, with a specific focus on overseeing the Guest Services department. This role involves ensuring operational efficiency, enhancing guest satisfaction, and leading a team to deliver exceptional service across all areas of the facility.

What You’ll Do:

Operational Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the entertainment center to ensure all attractions, services, and facilities run smoothly
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to maintain high levels of service quality and operational efficiency
  • Coordinate and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and efficient operations

Guest Services Management:

  • Lead the Guest Services team to deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a positive guest experience
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and effectively, ensuring all issues are resolved to the satisfaction of the guests
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and retention
  • Train and mentor Guest Services staff to ensure they are knowledgeable and capable of providing high-quality service

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees across various departments, including guest services, attractions, and maintenance
  • Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff are knowledgeable and adhere to company standards
  • Provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations to staff, addressing any issues promptly and professionally

Customer Experience:

  • Monitor and enhance the overall guest experience, ensuring all guests receive high-quality service
  • Develop and implement guest experience programs and initiatives to continuously improve service delivery
  • Monitor guest feedback through surveys, reviews, and direct interactions to identify areas for improvement

Financial Management:

  • Assist in the development and management of operational budgets
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets
  • Analyze sales and performance data to identify areas for improvement and growth

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure all operations comply with relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and drills to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and inspections

Marketing and Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities and events
  • Support sales initiatives to increase foot traffic and revenue, particularly in the guest services area
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay competitive in the industry

Strategic Planning:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of long-term strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and innovation
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure Elev8 Fun remains a leader in the entertainment sector
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred (degree may be substistuted with experience)
  • 3-5 years of management experience in guest services, hospitality, or operations
  • Experience managing a team, handling customer inquiries, and resolving complaints
  • Strong knowledge of operational procedures in a customer-focused environment (e.g., amusement parks, entertainment centers, hotels)
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and inventory management
  • Experience with performance management and staff training
  • Previous experience in budgeting and financial reporting

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 10 pounds.
  • Capable of standing, walking, and working in confined spaces throughout shifts, always maintaining visibility to guests.
  • Must possess the stamina to remain active and engaged during busy periods, ensuring responsiveness to guest needs.
  • Adept at moving throughout the facility, which may involve significant distances between buildings and areas.
  • Hearing and visual acuity to observe staff performance and detect emergency situations, responding appropriately.
