Job summary

Keller Logistics Group, an asset-based 3PL, seeks an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse operations across multiple sites in Tennessee. You will drive safe, efficient, and profitable performance while meeting customer expectations and contract KPIs.

Responsibilities include personnel management, KPI design, SOP development, and data-driven continuous improvement. Occasional travel may be required to support training and site visits.

Qualifications

• Extensive working knowledge of warehouse operations (pallet in pallet out, pick and pack, material fulfillment, inventory management, WMS and RF Equipment).
• Mastery of MS Office, particularly MS Excel, and other data analysis tools.
• 5 years 3PL warehouse management experience.
• Occasional travel may be required for training, company events, or site visits.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations across multiple locations to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable performance.
• Supervise personnel: hiring decisions, performance evaluations, training, and issue resolution.
• Develop and monitor productivity metrics, SOPs, and KPIs; use data analytics to identify trends and improvements.
• Design/maintain SOPs for each location covering handhelds to tow motor operations.
• Align operations with customer scorecards and contract KPIs.

Location: Huntingdon, TN. Relocation may be necessary.

Position Summary

The Operations Manager leads day-to-day operations across multiple warehouse locations, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable operations while meeting company and customer expectations.

• Manage personnel, includes recommendations for hiring, firing, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution.
• Responsible for overall performance of warehouses, including operations, customer service and contract KPIs. Work daily with all assigned Keller Warehouse locations to resolve any operational/customer issues.
• Design and manage productivity metrics, WMS based reporting, and operational KPIs. Use data analytics to identify labor trends and workflow inefficiencies.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP’s”) for each assigned warehouse location. The SOP’s will cover every aspect of the warehouse from using handhelds to operating a tow motor in a Keller safe manner.
• Develop/design/maintain productivity metrics and departmental goals. Regularly monitor progress to identify trends in activity and labor. Recommend, implement, and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations. Meet customer scorecard objectives.

Qualifications

• 5 years 3PL warehouse management experience.
• Occasional travel may be required for training, company events, or site visits.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

This position works in an active warehouse environment and requires frequent movement and material handling. Candidates must be able to lift up to 75 pounds independently or with assistance, work around powered equipment, wear required personal protective equipment, and work in varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, fumes, and odors.
