Job summary

SolomonEdwards client seeks an Operations Manager in High Point, NC to drive operational excellence on the floor. This hands-on leader will mentor teams, simplify processes, and scale operations for growth in a fast-paced manufacturing setting supporting complex infrastructure and initiatives.

The role is 1st shift, Monday to Friday. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of leadership in production/manufacturing, with expertise in flexographic/digital printing and RFID processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership in production/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of flexographic and digital printing technologies.
• Experience with RFID production processes (raw materials, printing, inlay, encoding, testing).
• Experience developing and maintaining SOPs and manufacturing best practices.
• Strong business acumen with budgeting and cost control.

Our client, a global packaging, labeling, and brand-solutions manufacturer, is seeking a Operations Manager to drive operational excellence within a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting complex infrastructure and production initiatives in High Point, NC.

They're seeking a hands-on leader who can mentor and hold teams accountable while maintaining a strong daily presence on the floor. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who can make independent decisions, simplify processes, drive operational efficiency, and support business growth. Experience building and scaling processes in fast-changing, startup, or acquisition environments is highly valued.

**This is a 1st shift position; standard working hours M-F**

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in production/manufacturing environments, preferably within printing, packaging, converting, textile, or RFID operations.
• Strong knowledge of flexographic and digital printing technologies.
• Hands-on experience with RFID production processes, including raw materials, printing, inlay insertion, encoding, and testing.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and maintain SOPs and manufacturing best practices.
• Strong business acumen with experience analyzing P&L statements, managing budgets, and controlling operational costs.
• Ability to understand business priorities, identify opportunities, navigate challenges, and respond to external market factors.
• Proficiency with ERP systems for job routing, production tracking, and inventory management.
