Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD), a subsidiary of GSF, is seeking an Operations Manager for Indianapolis distribution operations. You will lead transportation, warehouses, and distribution teams to meet safety, service, and cost goals in a fast-paced environment.

This onsite role requires a Bachelor's in logistics or related field and 7–10 years of leadership in transport or warehouse operations, with strong budgeting, regulatory knowledge, and experience with WMS.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in transportation, warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouses, transportation, inventory control, and distribution practices.
  • Experience with OSHA and DOT regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management experience.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lead large teams, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead transportation, warehouse, and distribution operations to meet safety, service, quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
  • Oversee daily operations, inventory management, equipment utilization, regulatory compliance, and team performance.

Operations Manager – Greenville, Indianapolis
What You'll Do:

Lead transportation, warehouse, and distribution operations to achieve safety, service, quality, productivity, and cost objectives. Oversee daily operations, inventory management, equipment utilization, regulatory compliance, and team performance while driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

In This Role, You'll:
  • Oversee daily transportation and warehouse operations to meet productivity, quality, and service goals.
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and associates to drive performance, engagement, and accountability.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and delivery performance.
  • Manage departmental budgets and support cost-control initiatives.
  • Oversee the maintenance, leasing, and utilization of transportation and material handling equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA, DOT, food safety, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate operational performance, priorities, and business objectives across teams and leadership.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in transportation, warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouses, transportation, inventory control, and distribution practices.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, including OSHA and DOT requirements.
  • Budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management experience.

  • Ability to travel as needed and work onsite in a fast-paced distribution environment.
The Schedule & Setting:
  • Full-time, onsite leadership role in a distribution and warehouse environment.
  • Supports a multi-shift operation with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Leads a team of approximately 200 employees through frontline supervisors.

  • Drives compliance with safety, food safety, OSHA, DOT, and company requirements.

  • Supports employee development, retention, workforce planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Measured by customer satisfaction, operational productivity, service levels, and continuous improvement results.
Pay & Benefits:
Pay Range:

$100K - $125K

  • Weekly pay (every Friday)
  • Bonus and incentive opportunities as applicable
