AdviceOne LLC in Glastonbury, CT is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and develop a team within our Operations department. You will focus on building a culture of ownership, collaboration, and accountability, while coaching your people to grow.

This hybrid role requires 2-5 years of people management experience, a BA/BS degree, and a natural leadership mindset. You will partner with senior leadership to execute strategy and ensure client service excellence, with in-person Tuesdays in

About the Role:

AdviceOne is growing, and we're looking for a leader to manage a team within our Operations department. We're looking for someone with 2-5 years’ experience managing people, with real moments to show for it: holding a team accountable, developing someone's skills, making the tough call when something went sideways, and cultivating confidence when it went great.

We're less interested in how long you've been managing and more interested in the leader you are becoming because of those moments. If you're early-to-mid in your leadership career and ready for the next big step, this is it.

Responsibilities include:

Our Operations Manager will lead and develop the team that drives all processes both client-facing and behind the scenes that enable our firm to run smoothly. • Run the day-to-day management of your team, keeping work moving and priorities clear
• Build and maintain a culture of ownership, collaboration, and accountability
• Coach, train, and develop your team; take real ownership of their growth
• Mentor team members through challenges, not just tasks, and invest in where they grow next
• Spot what's broken or inefficient and build better ways of doing things
• Partner with leadership to shape and execute strategy for your area

• A proven track record of holding a team accountable and developing them, not just supervising them
• An out-of-the-box thinker who is comfortable proposing new ideas and questioning how things are being done.

About Balance:

• Hybrid position
