Job summary

Jabil in the CVG campus seeks an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, with direct accountability for production leadership, work cells, and shift execution. You will report to the Operations Director and coordinate with Quality, Safety, Test, Engineering, and Facilities to deliver one operating plan.

You will lead managers and front-line teams, drive safety and quality while optimizing delivery and cost, and develop talent to meet customer commitments on a 24/7 basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–10 years of manufacturing or operations experience with leadership roles.
• Experience in a complex, matrixed, fast-paced EMS/manufacturing environment and on-floor leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead production managers and work cell leaders with full floor accountability.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people metrics across 24/7 shifts.
• Align functions (Quality, Safety, Test, Engineering, Facilities) to manufacturing goals.

Reporting to the Operations Director, this role drives daily performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People while coordinating closely with Quality, Safety, Test, Engineering, and Facilities to ensure alignment around a single operational plan. The Operations Manager serves as the primary link between the production floor and campus leadership, translating business priorities into disciplined execution and driving timely resolution of operational issues.What will you do?Manufacturing Leadership and PeopleLead production managers, supervisors, and work cell leaders as direct reports, with full accountability for floor performance on all shifts (24/7 operations).Hire, develop, and retain manufacturing leaders. Work with Talent Acquisition on capability requirements and selection criteria.Coach managers on leadership presence, decision-making, performance management, and accountability.Track turnover, engagement, and bench strength in manufacturing, and put retention and succession plans in place for critical roles.Complete direct report performance evaluations accurately, fairly, and on time.
