Job summary

Impact Fire Services, a leader in fire protection and life safety, seeks an Operations Manager for the Louisiana district. You will supervise technical and administrative teams and drive financial and customer-satisfaction goals within a fast-growing environment.

The role requires at least 3 years of operations experience, NICET knowledge or equivalent, and strong communication skills. Travel may be required; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of operational management experience in fire protection or commercial services.
  • Knowledge of NICET requirements or equivalent training.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn company systems.
  • Willingness to travel including overnight lodging.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the General Manager to develop financial and operational goals.
  • Ensure the division operates efficiently and personnel are effective.
  • Set productivity goals aligning with division priorities.
  • Meet monthly revenue and cost targets; address budget gaps.
  • Lead staff to deliver high-level customer service.
  • Learn and ensure compliance with applicable industry codes.
  • Protect the company’s assets.
  • Perform tasks assigned by the General Manager or Managing Member.

Managementoperations for Impact Fire Services.Duties will consist ofsupervision ofsales, superintendents, and/ortechnicians for theLouisianadistrict. Work to achieve the financial, operational and customer satisfaction goals established by the District General Manager.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is a local operations management position that reports to District General Manager. The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the applicable division(s). The Manager will supervise technical and administrative personnel to achieve financial or operational goals. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, and responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for technical personnel and ensuring personnel are properly trained.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with the General Manager and other managers to develop financial and operational goals
  • Ensure the effective operation of the Division, and the efficiency of personnel.
  • Establish productivity goals for the technical and administrative goals that fit in with the tactical priorities of the division.
  • Achieve the assigned monthly goals for revenue and cost control; work to correct any budgetary deficiencies
  • Lead the technical and administrative personnel in providing a high level of customer service
  • Learn and ensure compliance with all applicable industry codes
  • Protect the company’s assets
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the General Manager or Managing Member
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 3 years related operational management experience either in the fire protection industry or the commercial customer service business.
  • Knowledge of NICET requirements in the industry or equivalent training from manufacturers or institutions.
  • Established knowledge of all product lines and services offered by Impact Fire Services.
  • Competency with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn the Company’s information systems applications.
  • Well-developed interviewing and hiring skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
  • Willingness to travel out of town including overnight lodging.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
In addition to the above, the most desirable candidate will have:
  • A four-year college degree in management or business administration or comparable experience is a plus
  • Industry licensing or certification of competency with fire alarms and commercial sprinkler systems

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
