Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking an experienced HR leader to support World Courier operations in Denver, CO.

The role focuses on recruiting, developing and retaining talent, ensuring SOP compliance, and maintaining high standards for cold-chain processes in a global logistics context. You will collaborate with managers across functions, manage station resources and costs, and drive training and performance reviews while adhering to FAA, TSA, FDA and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, human resources or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Requires 5+ years directly related and progressively responsible experience, including 2+ years at a supervisory level.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, hiring and maintaining talented staff.
• Developing employees and overseeing training of staff in handling procedures including recurrent training.
• Ensuring compliance with SOPs and good business practices.
• Developing local operational procedures and policies to ensure quality.
• Quarterly review of processes and workflows.
• Collaborating with managers nationally and globally to develop strategies and support growth.
• Delegation of responsibilities to ensure shipments are properly managed.
• Monitor station activity, assess needs for resources and manage costs.
• Ensure critical cold chain requirements are met and equipment is qualified.
• Comply with FAA, TSA, FDA and other regulations affecting the organization.
• Troubleshooting and problem management (Agent relations, CAPA, root causes).
• Conducting performance reviews and succession planning for direct reports.
• Quarterly compensation reviews for direct reports.
• Foster a cooperative workplace with high morale.

Job Details

Location: This position is located onsite at our facility in Denver, CO. There is no option for remote or hybrid work.

Role Context

This role is in support of Cencora's global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier business. World Courier is a provider of premium logistics services and the leading global specialty supplier of transportation, storage and distribution services for multinational biopharmaceutical clinical trials. Responsibilities

• Recruiting, Hiring and maintaining talented human resources.
• Developing new employees and overseeing the training of staff in handling procedures including timely recurrent training to meet the developing needs of our business.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant SOP’s and good business practices.
• Developing local operational procedures and policies that ensure quality within the organization.
• Quarterly review of processes and workflows.
• Collaborating, both nationally and globally, with other managers to develop business strategies, resolve issues and support growth.
• Delegation of responsibilities to ensure all shipments in transit through the station are properly managed.
• Monitoring station activity, identifying needs for resources, managing station costs and ensuring quality objectives are maintained.
• Ensuring that critical cold chain requirements are met.
• Qualifying and maintaining equipment that supports our business.
• Complying with FAA, TSA, FDA and other regulations that impact our organization.
• Troubleshooting and problem management ( Agent relations, CAPA assessments & root causes, etc.).
• Conducting performance reviews and evaluations with the goal of assessing employee performance and identifying areas for professional development (Succession planning for direct reports).
• Quarterly Compensation reviews for direct reports.
• Fostering a cooperative and harmonious workplace while preserving high employee morale (Team recognition, True Blues, celebrate Team wins).
• Managing office expenses.
• Meeting company reporting deadline.
• KPI Review.
• Maintaining local vendor relationships and ensuring quality standards (Review contracts with vendors/carries/agents and drive rate negotiations/cost saving opportunities).
• Understanding and implementing new technology to increase performance and productivity.

Education and Experience

Salary

Full time Salary Range* $94,500 - 148,060 *This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
