Position Overview

Overhead Door Company of Atlanta, a DH Pace Company, Inc., located in Peachtree Corners, GA, is seeking an Operations Manager to actively manage our Commercial Operations Department. This role involves managing the commercial installation and/or service departments performing work in the Atlanta area. Product knowledge is not required, but experience managing a service or installation team responsible for servicing or installing mechanical and/or electrical products is preferred.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage daily operations of the commercial service or installation departments in the Atlanta area.
  2. Handle department Budget and P&L responsibilities, controlling labor and material costs.
  3. Oversee employee scheduling, dispatching, and assist with troubleshooting to ensure customer satisfaction and proper job execution.
  4. Maintain high-quality customer service while managing jobs to stay below budget and ensure profitability.
  5. Monitor manpower, workload, and employee performance; develop, train, and hire staff, conducting regular performance reviews.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of management experience, preferably with teams servicing or installing equipment/products.
  • Ability to manage and develop skilled technicians and office personnel with a focus on service quality and cost efficiency.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and mechanical aptitude.
  • Core work hours are Monday - Friday, with emergency/after-hours call rotation and some Saturdays.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
